Overview

A pull-on objective lens cap that fits an unusually wide range of night vision housings, so one cap covers a mixed inventory instead of a different part per device. The cap uses a two-point attachment rather than a single lip, which is what stops it working loose and disappearing the first time the goggle is stowed in a pack or flipped up on a helmet. Left on between uses it keeps grit and fingerprints off the objective — the face that costs the most to refinish and the one most exposed the moment the device leaves its case. It goes on and comes off by hand, with the goggle mounted or not, so there is no reason to leave the objective bare between periods of use.

How to Fit

1) Wipe the objective clean before capping it, so nothing is trapped against the glass;

2) Push the cap squarely onto the objective until both attachment points seat;

3) Tug it lightly to confirm both points are engaged before stowing the device;

PVS-14, PVS-15, PVS-31, BNVD-1431, BNVD-31, BNVD-SG, DTNVG / DTNVS, MOD3, PDS31, RNVG / RPNVG, KATANA, NVG-40 / NVG-50 and Sentinel style housings.
